Medical and Professional Background

At SteadyMD, I lead our medical team’s mission of making high-quality, high-attention personalized health care available and affordable to millions of Americans. A real relationship with a doctor who “gets you” and is part of your life.

I have been practicing medicine for 26 years. I earned my medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and did my residency training in Family Medicine at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. I served as the National Medical Director for the Walgreens Healthcare Clinics where I supervised the care of hundreds of thousands of patients across the country.

On a Personal Note…

From a young age, I knew that I was meant to become a doctor. In the summer between my junior and senior year of high school, I worked with a local family physician in my small hometown, and that experience solidified my decision to go into medicine.

After years of working with a wide-variety of patients, my approach strongly emphasizes helping patients achieve a healthy lifestyle that they can stick with long-term. To do that, I treat them like a partner in developing and implementing changes in their day-to-day. This approach has allowed me to help countless patients that suffered from diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, among other chronic conditions.

I am a firm believer that patients should be active participants in their care. This means giving them all the information they need, and helping them make an informed decision, instead of trying to make decisions for them.

I am a proud father of three wonderful kids and I understand how hard it is for parents to find the time to take care of themselves.
